In May of this this year Rutherford Cross and colleagues from across the wider Livingston James Group completed a Virtual North Coast 500 (516 miles) in aid of three fantastic charities.
Whilst lockdown meant we couldn’t travel around the famous scenic route, we undertook to complete the 516 miles on foot around our own local areas. 20 team members took part and we completed the route in seven and a half days. We decided to push ourselves even further and arrived virtually back to the Glasgow office from Inverness, adding a further 168 miles in just two and a half days!
Thanks to all our friends, clients, and colleagues who donated to each of our chosen charities, Social Bite (£928), the Samaritans (£923), and the Good Morning Service (£649), smashing our original target of £1500 across the three charities.
Very well done to the team who pulled out all the stops to complete the 684 miles in ten days, and raise much needed funds for our chosen charities.
