Sacro is a Scottish community justice organisation which offers a range of services to create safer and more cohesive communities across Scotland by reducing conflict and offending. Sacro’s strategy is aligned with that of Scotland – the aspiration to build a more caring and inclusive society.
Since its inception 45 years ago, Sacro has grown and developed new services for young people, bail, intensive supervision of high risk offenders and other priority categories. Sacro currently has almost 200 staff and volunteers, offering over 60 services in 22 locations across Scotland. Their hard work has had a significant impact, evidenced by the figures for recorded crime in Scotland which are at at a 42-year low.
The opportunity has arisen to appoint a new Finance Manager to report into the Director of Corporate Services. As the leading finance professional within the organisation, you will be responsible for all aspects of finance across the charity. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is driven by adding value; Whether it is improving the processes and systems in place, engaging with the wider organisation or offering the Board more insight and analysis, there is a real opportunity to see the impact of the work you do on a day to day basis.
