Rutherford Cross is partnering with a leading accountancy firm to appoint an experienced Manager into the VAT team in Edinburgh.

Our client is a leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services to middle market leaders, globally. Joining will allow you to gain access to an impressive client list and discover some of the world’s most dynamic companies and individuals.

You will manage and control VAT client work, including the review and preparation of VAT returns. You will undertake detailed planning and implementation of VAT work, ensuring the provision of an effective and cost-driven service to clients in line with budgets.

Together with the Partners, you will manage the interface between a group of clients and the Firm to ensure that the agreed expectations of the clients in terms of service, quality and cost, in addition to the Firm’s targets, are met.

You will have either previous experience of working at a Manager level in VAT or will be an experienced Assistant Manager ready to step up.
