Temporary Commercial Accountant job with our FMCG client based near Glasgow. This role is for an initial period of 6 months to support the Commercial team within this £500m + turnover business. You will be responsible for:

• Production of budgeting and forecasting information to support the commercial decision making process
• Analysis of variances between actual and forecast, liaising with the commercial team
• Development of financial forecasting models
• Tailoring and improving Financial Reporting to meet the needs of the business
• Supporting and challenging to ensure pricing decisions are incorporated into forecasts
• Undertaking profitability and gap analysis
• Supporting the strategic decision making process

You will be a Qualified Accountant, Part Qualified or Qualified by Experience with previous Commercial Decision Support experience. You will have a background ideally in FMCG or be able to display a track record of using financial analysis techniques. You will be comfortable dealing with multi-disciplined teams and be an advanced Excel user. Salary c£38,000
