Supporting the Head of Finance, this position will lead and develop the financial accounting process for the organisation.

The Opportunity: 

• Day to day running of finance function
• Preparation of monthly management accounts for the business
• Completion of bank reconciliation
• Production of annual accounts and liaison with external audit
• Preparation of financial reports
• Cash management
• Payment of invoices
• Liaison and influencing the Senior Management Team
• Streamlining of account processes and accounting systems
• Assisting in the professional development of the team reporting to this role

The Candidate:

• Qualified accountant
• Strong managerial skillset
• Confidence and strong interpersonal skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong technical foundation in accounting
• Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines and prioritise effectively
• Ability to work well in a team, but also capable of taking ownership and responsibility for the delivery of specific tasks
• Be able to build both internal and external relationships

Salary: £30,000-£40,000
