Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working exclusively with a hugely ambitious SME, based on the outskirts of Glasgow to recruit a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst.   The position has been created in response to the continued growth of the business. The role will report to the Financial Controller and Finance Director, and will be responsible for the collation and analysis of trading data to support commercial business decisions and allow for accurate financial reporting.  The post-holder will gain exposure to highly experienced team members and directors across the company, and will be involved in some high profile projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare monthly commercial performance information to identify and track trends in profitability by supplier, product and region
• Support the annual budgeting process and monthly operational planning processes, ensuring these are built on robust assumptions
• Providing proactive decision support to costing new business opportunities, assessing margins and the overall financial viability of commercial arrangements with suppliers and customers
• Prepare regular monthly reports for regional operations staff, highlighting key financial trends, performance against budget, and any areas that require business attention

• Salary of £45,000-£50,000 depending on experience
