Rutherford Cross are together with our Swiss partner to recruit for an experienced International VAT Manager to be based out of the Zurich office.

Working with a portfolio of both Swiss and large International clients, the role will be to service and develop the clients through consulting and implementation.  Managing indirect tax projects, the role will involve analysing transactions, understanding the business model and processes and implementing more improved processes as well as offering solutions and recommendations in other areas.  The role of ‘Manager’ will not only manage the processes as above but also a team of junior members – ensuring they are developing, learning and contributing to the project.

Based out of Zurich, in the German region of Switzerland, and also the main office for our client in Switzerland. Zurich is the home to many European headquarters as well as the Swiss stock exchange. It’s a city bustling with Expats, who choose Zurich not only for the career choice, but also the lifestyle.  With the transport system being one of the best in Europe, as well as Zurich being voted one of the best cities in the world to live, it can offer a great base.  Sports, music, excellent education and low risk on crime – it has a number of appealing factors for the Expat worked today.

Fluent English and German is essential for this role as well as having experience working within a VAT role. It is preferable to have a degree in Accounting or Law as well as a minimum of 5 years work experience. EU passport holder or Swiss national is essential
