Rutherford Cross are working together with our Swiss partner to recruit an experienced International VAT Manager to be based out of the Zurich office.

Working with a portfolio of both Swiss and large International clients, the role will be to service and develop the clients through consulting and implementation.  Managing indirect tax projects, the role will involve analysing transactions, understanding the business model and processes and implementing more improved processes as well as offering solutions and recommendations in other areas.  The role of ‘Manager’ will not only manage the processes as above but also a team of junior members – ensuring they are developing, learning and contributing to the project.

Based out of Zurich, in the German region of Switzerland, and also the main office for our client in Switzerland. Zurich is the home to many European headquarters as well as the Swiss stock exchange. Fluent English and a good level of German (or French if Geneva) is essential for this role as well as having experience working within a VAT role. It is preferable to have a degree in Accounting or Law as well as a minimum of 5 years work experience. EU passport holder or Swiss national is essential
