Interim Statutory Accountant job with a Glasgow based manufacturing business for a 3-4 month period. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of statutory accounts for various business entities
• Analysis of financial statements
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Offer assistance and support in response to audit requests
• Ad hoc duties as required

To apply, you will be a Qualified Accountant or time served individual with substantial statutory accounts preparation experience. The ideal candidate will be familiar with accounting standards such as UK GAAP and IFRS, and have strong business acumen. The post holder should also have good Excel skills. Experience working with J.D. Edwards accounting software would be desirable but is not essential. Salary bracket: £40,000 - £50,000 p.a. or equivalent day rate.
