Description

Interim Project Accountant job with our Edinburgh based client for a 6-month period to support an ERP systems implementation project. Reporting to the Finance Project Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Support in the development, testing and implementation of a new module during an ERP project
  • Create related documentation with support from the Project Manager and Business Analysis team
  • Identify Risks and prepare escalation processes
  • Ensure processes implemented are in line with the project plan
  • Support the continuous improvement of policies and procedures
  • Reconciliations of data between the legacy system and new cloud software
  • Improving Control Accounts ensuring assurance and compliance
  • Support on testing with the new ERP system
  • Data cleansing in support of a forthcoming systems upgrade

 

To apply you will be a qualified, part qualified or ‘Qualified by Experience’ Accountant who is extremely hands on with a skillset in Systems Accounting or Financial Accounting with a track record of implementing controls and improving processes. Strong IT skills are also required with a track record of having used ERP systems previously and excel extensively. This role is due to start in July 2021 and will run until the end of the year. A significant part of this role will be working from home, so we welcome relevant applicants from across the country. Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum or day rate equivalent.
