Rutherford Cross is delighted to be partnering with a leading business based in Glasgow to recruit a Management Accountant / Finance Analyst to join their business asap. Based at Head Office you will provide support to the Finance Director.

Key aspects of the role will include:

• Prepare monthly commercial performance information, liasing regularly with Sales and Operations regarding variances
• Prepare reports which will highlight trends and show performance against budget
• Assist with the budgeting process
• Supporting pricing decisions
• Product profitability & analysis
• Work closely with the Finance and Operations teams to support customer or supplier queries
• Assist the Finance Manager/Director with ad hoc financial planning projects and commercial decision making

This role will suit a part or fully Qualified Accountant with very strong Excel skills for reporting. Preferably you will have experience in a commercial finance environment and be able to analyse large amounts of data across multiple platforms. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential as you will be acting as a Business Partner to non-finance staff. This role could move to permanent.

Salary on offer: £30,000-£32,000
