Interim Group Accountant job with our Edinburgh based client for a 9-month period. This role will report directly to the Senior Group Accountant. The key responsibilities are:

• Preparation of group reports including balance sheet, profit and loss, internal and external reports, and cash flow statements
• Production of general ledger journals and monthly consolidations
• Assist with the preparation of the year-end audit
• Create annual consolidated financial statements for the Group
• Support with the preparation of monthly management accounts and variance analysis reporting
• Assist with the preparation of statutory and regulatory filings within required deadlines
• Support with the implementation of the new ERP system
• Assist with the management of the finance system including group compliance tracker, creation of powerBI reports, manage integration and error logs
• Ad hoc reporting, tasks and projects as required

To apply you will be a Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant with excellent planning and organizational skills. You will have advance excel skills and a strong attention to detail. You will be comfortable liaising with both finance and non-finance stakeholders. This role will start at the beginning of November and offers hybrid working. Salary- £40,000 - £45,000 p.a.
