Interim Financial Controller job with our Glasgow based client for an initial 3-4-month period and the opportunity to be made permanent.

Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for:

• The preparation of monthly management accounts
• The production of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Bank reconciliations
• The preparation of VAT returns
• Daily cash flow management
• Processing invoices and staff expenses
• Monthly payroll and sub-contractor reconciliations
• Supporting the CFO with ad hoc tasks and projects

To apply, you will be a ‘Qualified by Experience’ Accountant with a strong financial and management accounting background. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills and a flexible attitude to work.

A background in the construction sector would be beneficial but is not essential.

This role offers flexible working hours and an early finish on a Friday.
