Rutherford Cross is working with a Glasgow based business who have been growing through acquisition and are looking to add an interim Finance Controller to their team to assist with an increase in workload. Working with an innovative and entrepreneurial organisation some of the key aspects of the role will include:

• Ensuring the smooth running of the management accounting cycle including reporting and supporting commentary and analysis
• Leading on the audit at year end
• Overseeing forecasting and ensuring tight control on cashflow
• Providing accurate commentary around costs and variances
• Overseeing a small finance team

This Financial Controller job will require a Qualified Accountant CA/CIMA/ACCA who has prior experience in a similar role. Experience of working in fast paced and changing environments are key as well as being able to think commercially and build relationships throughout an organisation. This is an ongoing interim role to start asap.
