Interim Financial Accountant job with our Edinburgh based client. This role will be for a 3-6 month period reporting directly the Financial Controller. This role is to support a transition period of the business. The key accountabilities of the role are:

• Managing of the procurement system to any finance and invoicing issues are managed and dealt with in a timely manner
• Supporting the day to day finance function, managing queries and providing reports
• Carrying out weekly and month end reconciliations to support the preparation of the management accounts
• Supporting in the preparation of management accounts for 3 entities
• Supporting the annual forecasting process
• Preparing the fortnightly payroll input reports for the external payroll provider, reviewing outputs and responding to any queries
• Assisting with invoicing and credit control
• Managing relationships with suppliers and reconciling monthly supplier statements

To apply you will be an experienced Financial Accountant comfortable working in a fast paced environment to tight deadlines. You will have a broad accounting skill set, with a high attention to detail and strong systems experience. This role will begin in April and supports hybrid working. Salary: circa £40,000 p.a.
