Interim Financial Accountant job with our Edinburgh based client for an initial 3 month period. Reporting to the Financial Controller. You will be responsible for:

• Support the financial accounting and transactional teams
• Ensure accurate and compliant management of ledgers and transactions
• Review and support the internal transaction process
• Analyse company assets and cash, including cash flow forecasting and fixed asset recording
• Maintain relationship with external payroll provider
• Review and approve payroll outputs
• Provide support to non-finance staff
• Oversee expense systems
• Manage corporate credit card issues and monitoring
• Assisting with the production of payroll reports
• Supporting the Financial Controller with any VAT and Audit compliance requirements

To apply you will be a Qualified, Part Qualified or ‘Qualified by Experience’ Accountant with strong excel skills and a solid understanding of different finance systems. You will have good leadership skills and can support and develop other people. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate with and influence internal and external stakeholders. Beginning March 2022. Salary: £35,000-£40,000 p.a. dependant on experience.
