Interim Finance Administrator job (Hybrid) with our public sector client, based in Renfrewshire for a 4-month period. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing monthly financial reports and forecasts
- Supporting the preparation of annual budget, forecasts, and year end accounts
- Conducting monthly reconciliations, identifying errors, and taking corrective action
- Processing of purchase orders and invoices
- Processing of travel and subsistence claims
- Audit compliance
- Reviewing internal policies and procedures
- Supporting procurement functions by preparing and processing tender documentation
- Providing administrative support to records management processes
- Attending monthly staff, board, and committee meetings
To apply, you will be an experienced Finance Administrator with previous involvement in the day-to-day running of an account’s office. The ideal candidate will have good problem-solving skills and experience of working to defined processes. The post holder will require good IT skills and be proficient in Excel. Finally, you will be a confident communicator, able to work efficiently as part of a team whilst offering support to other departments. This role offers a hybrid working model. Salary bracket: £30,000 - £35,000 p.a. or equivalent day rate depending on experience.
