Rutherford Cross is working with a central Glasgow based organisation to recruit an Interim Change Management Accountant for a long term contract role. This is an excellent opportunity to join a global business and be part of a really interesting team working on the successful integration of acquisitions. This is a long term contract role likely to last 9-12 months. A summary of some of the key duties are below:

• Dealing with acquisitions, producing integration plans which will include detailed tasks, timelines and costs
• Assist with process mapping and discovery documentation
• Ensuring compliance requirements are met for integrations, including statutory audits and FCA requirements
• Holding integration calls
• Prepare project packs
• Holding calls with local finance teams
• Review month end results/balance sheet recs for acquisitions
• Review acquisition monthly management accounts and commentary
• Business partnering with other support functions
• Being involved in due diligence of acquisitions
• Supporting with external and internal audit requests

This role requires a fully qualified accountant with a strong project/change management background and experience of implementing new processes or control. A good technical knowledge is key as well having good business partnering ability and being able to influence across different areas out with Finance. Any exposure to acquisitions/integrations would be very advantageous. This contract is offering a highly competitive salary and will provide a great opportunity to be part of an exciting project team.
