Rutherford Cross is working with an SME business based in Glasgow who are looking for a hands on interim accountant to join their team for a period of 3-6 months. This interim role is due to high volume workload across the team and will also focus on some integration work after a new system implementation. A summary of some of the key aspects of the role will include:

• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with month end, suggesting improvements to reduce month end processing times
• Maximising the use of the new ERP system and how it is being integrated into finance
• Fixed asset work
• Ad hoc project work supporting the FC

This job requires a qualified accountant or qualified by experience accountant with strong systems skills. Previous experience in process improvements and troubleshooting would be beneficial as well as being flexible to assist in various different areas of finance.
