Description

Rutherford Cross is working together with a leading Big 4 firm in Switzerland to assist them recruit a German speaking Transfer Pricing Senior Consultant for their offices in Zurich.

Zurich is the largest city in Switzerland and the capital of the canton of Zurich. It is located in north-central Switzerland at the north-western tip of Lake Zurich. Zurich is a leading global city and among the world’s largest financial centres with it being the home to a large number of financial institutions and banking agents. Most of Switzerland’s research and development centres are concentrated in Zurich and the low tax rates attract international companies to set up their headquarters there. One of the most important sectors in the economy of Zurich is the service industry, which employs nearly four fifths of workers. Other important industries include light industry, machine and textile industries and tourism. Most Swiss banks have their headquarters in Zurich and there are numerous foreign banks in the Greater Zurich Area. Zurich has great economic strength and growth and the high quality of life has been cited as a reason for this.

Switzerland as a whole is renowned for the snow-capped mountains and skiing and snowboarding in the winter wonderlands of Graubünden, Bernese-Oberland and Central Switzerland, but there is plenty to do when pastures are green. Contemporary Zurich might still be home to the world’s fourth biggest stock exchange and remain Switzerland’s financial engine, but it also is surprisingly vibrant and trendy with fantastic restaurants and rooftops bars.

This is an excellent opportunity to break into the highly sought after Swiss market. This Big 4 client is looking for a Transfer Pricing Senior Consultant who has a minimum of 2 years’ transfer pricing experience over different jurisdictions and who has a background in economics, business administration or law. This is a rare opportunity because although German knowledge is a strong asset, it is not as essential strong written and spoken language skills in English. This role will involve managing different kinds of transfer pricing projects on a global scale and conducting risk assessment reviews and analysis of transfer pricing structures and transactions etc.
