Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working with a city centre Glasgow based organisation who are currently experiencing a period of growth and expansion which has resulted in an interim opportunity becoming available for a 9 month contract which could then be further extended. This organisation are looking for ambitious candidates who are inquisitive and analytical and can provide support to their management reporting team through a pivotal period of change. This Financial Reporting Analyst job will suit either a fully qualified or part qualified accountant with recent relevant experience.

A summary of the main aspects of the role is below:

• Delivering internal and external financial reporting and working to tight deadlines
• Developing and implementing IFRS compliant financial reporting, analysis and governance
• Liaising with internal and external auditors regarding statutory accounts
• Managing queries and assisting with broader management reporting tasks

This role requires someone who has recent experience in preparation of both statutory and management accounts and IFRS accounting knowledge. Strong excel skills combined with the ability to communicate effectively across different teams is essential. Experience of Hedge Accounting would be advantageous.
