The key duties will be:

• Ensuring the integrity of the Group financial accounts
• Delivery of a timely and efficient month end close
• Supporting the preparation of the Group Annual Statutory Accounts, and facilitating the external Audit
• Monitor and review of key Group Balance Sheet codes, including verification of balances and challenge across the Finance team.
• Monitor and reconciliation of Group intercompany balances within the P&L and Balance Sheet.
• Provide support to the Financial Accounting Manager with regards cashflow monitoring and forecasting.
• Provision of relevant information to Tax advisors for completion of Group Tax returns, including Tonnage Tax route analysis and supporting information.
• Ensure Delegated Authority Matrix updates are controlled and aligned with Corporate Governance.
• Identify and implement process improvements within the Financial Accounting function.
• Provide support to ensure all Financial Accounting processes are maintained within the Company Management system
