Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working with a third-sector organisation based in North Lanarkshire in order to appoint a Finance Team Lead. The organisation has seen significant revenue growth over the past couple of years and has further ambitious growth & continuous improvement ambitions for the coming years. This is a key role within the Finance team, which will report directly into the Finance Manager and be responsible for leading a small Finance Team of two. Ideally, we are looking to speak to finance professionals with relevant experience in a similar role and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee the day-to-day finance tasks of the team
• Ensure the team members meet deadlines
• Assist in the development and monitoring of accounting system and processes
• Support with growing the organisation
• Identify progressing developments to drive business efficiencies
• Assist the finance manager in facilitating the production of monthly internal management accounts
• Support the annual audit process
• Other duties as required
