Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working with an established FMCG  business based on the outskirts of Glasgow to recruit a Finance  Manager.  This permanent position is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with proven people-management experience.  The role will involve working closely with the Financial Controller to ensure the accuracy of all financial group reports and that they are produced to meet strict deadlines.  These reports will support key business decision-making.

Responsibilities will include:

• Production of month end group accounts
• Assist with preparation of annual statutory accounts
• Staff management of AR and AP teams
• Take a proactive approach to  improving financial controls
• Work closely with other key members of the finance department to ensure a collaborative approach
