This is a superb opportunity to join a global market leader in a role that offers broad commercial exposure and progression opportunities. The natural trajectory following success in this role would be to progress to Business Partner for your business unit. Given the size of the business, there is also the opportunity to move abroad further down the line.

Ideally, we are looking to engage with driven and ambitious newly/recently qualified accountants seeking a move into a commercially focused role within industry, however, we will also consider PQ/QBE provided you have the relevant experience. We are looking for strong communicators who genuinely want to impact the business they work in. There is a market leading package on offer with salary DOE.

Day-to-day you will be looking after the management accounting for your business unit, carrying out ad-hoc analysis and analytical work, and business partnering with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide valuable data analysis and reporting to contribute to the accurate financial reporting and controls. You will also build on the current procedures in place to ensure valuable Management reporting and KPIs are created to evidence financial performance
• Collate the individual Profit & Loss Statements to provide and explain financial performance
• Prepare SAFs and tax-related information as required
• Prepare quarterly forecasting and position at year-end
• Support the Business Partner to present Financial Quarterly Results to Senior Management
• Challenging Cost Management to ensure all costs are complete and coded accurately
• Work with and support the budget owners to ensure forecasting is accurate and costs are within budget
• Prepare VAT return, RDEC and grant accounting
• Monitor and prepare Capex submissions and approvals including Intangible Assets for both Manufacturing and Development Projects
