Rutherford Cross are working in partnership with a leading firm based on the stunning island of Malta to recruit an Audit Senior for their growing and leading audit team.

The role is to join a busy and experienced audit team who cover a variety of clients across investments, funds, banking, general industry and public sector. The role will give exposure to a number of sectors with new experience gained in local regulations and legislations. Working with more junior members, you will lead some audits and also participate within a team on larger audit assignments. This position will expect strong technical capabilities to offer clients expertise and advisory when required.   With Malta’s employment growth rising over the past 6 years, the island is prospering and enjoying new business opportunities and developments. The role will be based in the office in the area of Valletta, the Islands capital. Malta is a stunning island with a mixed historical and modern feel to it. The right person for this role will be a qualified accountant, either CPA / ACCA / CA and will have at least 2 years (ideally 3 to 4) external audit experience, preferably within a large CA firm.  At this stage, only candidates within the EU will be considered.
