Rutherford Cross are working in partnership with a leading, global chartered accountancy firm who are keen to add an additional head to their growing financial services audit team.

The role is for an experienced senior, assistant manager or perhaps newly promoted manager.  The role will expect someone with a minimum of 4 years’ experience and exposure to management and leadership.  The key focus and majority portfolio will be asset management clients – from planning to completion of each audit.  Some assignment this role will be in full control, and others will be reporting (with a larger audit) to the director or partner.

Being based in Geneva, career wise, will straight away be a strength to a CV. It is one of the world’s top cities to do business in.  Key large multinationals, global banking organisations and international commodity traders are just a few of the sectors that this city boasts. It is also regularly voted as one of the wealthiest and top places to live in the globe.  Most don’t actually live in Geneva! The area surrounding Lake Geneva to Lausanne and anywhere in between, all offer amazing spots to call home. Skiing, travel, outdoor living – some of the reasons why people choose to live here.

The right person for this role DOESN’T need to speak French, given the majority of people speak English – but it is an advantage. An EU passport is essential as well as experience in auditing asset management clients, within a large CA firm. Preferences will be given to those with a professional qualification and/or experience of working in the Swiss market.  A minimum of 3 years’ experience, preferably 4-5 years’ experience.
