Interim Group Financial Accountant

Interim Group Financial Accountant job with our Glasgow based client for a period of 18months. This role will report directly into the Head of Group Reporting. This is an excellent opportunity to join a global business and be an integral part of the finance function. The role will not have direct reports but will be a senior member of the team and will offer great exposure to senior contacts including the CFO.

The key responsibilities for this role are:

• Production of Group Management Accounts and packs for Senior Management
• Consolidation of accruals and forecasts
• Supporting on statutory close and month end reporting, including consolidation and compliance
• Provide analysis on Group performance to support quarterly presentations
• Liaise closely with external auditors
• Accountable for some system administration tasks in line with reporting packs
• Consolidation of budgets and production of budget packs for internal stakeholders
• Supporting the implementation of process improvements and efficiency drivers
• Ad hoc duties

For this role the company require a fully qualified accountant with experience in consolidated reporting in a larger business.  You will have good technical skills and be proficient with the use of excel and ideally have a knowledge of foreign currency. You will be confident in liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.
