Interim Financial Controller (Part Time) job for a 3-month period with our Glasgow based client. The role will be for 3 days per week during the assignment. Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts including profit & loss and balance sheet accounts for this subsidiary
• Processing of invoices, making supplier payments and collection of cash for the operation
• Review of existing financial controls and processes with subsequent implementation of improvements where required
• Liaison with the Group Head Office function with a view to integrating the finance function into the centre

To apply you will be a Qualified Accountant and experienced Financial Controller. You will need to be extremely versatile able to undertake hands on duties such as processing of invoices but with the depth of experience to recognise and then drive improvements within the finance function, subsequently supporting the integration of the function into Group Finance. You will also have excellent stakeholder skills able to liaise and work closely with Senior Management. Day Rate: £350-£450 per day
