Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working with a global investment company, headquartered in Edinburgh City Centre to appoint a Head of Capital Management.

This key role will be critical in shaping the organisation’s capital plans and the delivery of high-quality reporting and risk management. The postholder will be an important member of the senior finance leadership team and will be required to support and challenge business strategy.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Management of the Group’s capital position
• Capital planning / projects in both base and stress scenarios
• Delivery of capital reporting to the FCA and internal committees
• Leadership of capital projects
• Managing a team

Applications are welcome from either qualified actuaries or qualified accountants with significant post-qualification experience and strong technical skills. It is essential that the candidate has extensive and specific capital management experience.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior decision-makers and operate at a senior level within a complex organisation.
