Interim Project Accountant job with our Edinburgh based client for an 18 month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for:

• Budget setting for a major programme and associated projects
• Financial Modelling to support project business cases
• Oversee the budget for projects and control and monitor spend throughout each project lifecycle
• Prepare reports by project and produce consolidated reports for the overall Programme
• Regular liaison with Project Managers regarding budgetary position
• Financial modelling to provide decision support for the delivery of strategic initiatives
• Supporting significant procurement and commercial decisions for the business

To apply it is essential that you are a Qualified Accountant, with hands on experience in FP&A, Project Accounting or in a Finance Business Partner role. You will be an Advanced Excel user and have first class stakeholder skills. Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum.
