Interim Senior Finance Manager job for our public sector client based in the central belt of Scotland for a 6-month period. Reporting to the Head of Finance you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of the annual statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors
• Setting the annual budget for the organisation
• Ongoing budgetary monitoring analysing variances from budget
• Working closely with budget holders to manage finances and explain variances
• Managing and supervision of a large finance team
• Development of current Finance system
• Ongoing improvements of processes and procedures

To apply you will be a Qualified Accountant with a background in the Local Government sector. You will be experienced in the Local Authority year-end accounts production process. Rate: circa £250 – £350 per day dependent on experience.
