Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Aberdeen, Dana Petroleum Limited is an exploration and production company with operations and interests in the UK, the Netherlands and Egypt. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Korea National Oil Corporation, having been acquired in 2010. Dana has 50 production assets, producing 57,000 in 2019 and 47,000 in 2020 barrels of oil and gas per day on average. 70% of the operations are currently in the North Sea.
The company revenue for 2019 was £857.9m and £484.9m in 2020, the reduction a result from a challenging year in the sector. However, production is expected to increase following the joint venture with operator Harbour Energy in the Tolmount Southern North Sea gas project.
