Thomas Sherriff & Co was first established as a machinery manufacturer and dealer in 1816. Today there are 8 outlets operating out of 7 different locations across the North East of England and the Lothians and Borders regions of Scotland, each providing comprehensive sales, parts and service support for both agricultural and commercial and consumer equipment.
Primarily Thomas Sherriff & Co is a John Deere Dealer and due to the growth of the business has been selected to join the John Deere Dealer as well as being appointed as a selected Dealer for: Kuhn Farm Machinery, Stewart Trailers, Kramer, DAL-BO and Ifor Williams Trailers.
In 2020 the business turned over £45M and having been identified as a Dealer of Tomorrow the vision is to grow the business to £100M, this will be achieved through both organic growth and also growth by acquisition.
This role is a newly created position within the growing finance function and will report into the Financial Controller. It will be situated in the Haddington office which has four other members of staff working there day to day in the central finance function.
