Rutherford Cross engaged to grow the HEINEKEN UK Tax Team

Do you want to be part of one of the most progressive companies in the UK? A company that puts ‘enjoyment of life’ at its heart? A company that pushes boundaries, yet steeped in over 100 years of history?

HEINEKEN is proud to be the UK’s leading cider and beer business with an unrivalled portfolio of brands including Fosters, Strongbow, John Smith’s, Bulmer, Desperado and of course the world-renowned Heineken. The business also operates Star Pubs and Bars, a leased pub business which is made up of an estate of around 1,200 pubs throughout the UK.

Based in the Edinburgh Group Finance office, the UK Tax Team manages processes for all taxes – direct and indirect – ensuring returns are accurate and submitted on time, and supports the Group with tax reporting, advisory, treasury and insurance matters. HEINEKEN is on an exciting journey in the UK and the Tax Team plays an important part in identifying and driving continuous improvement in tax processes and procedures.

A new opportunity has arisen for a UK Tax Analyst to work in the in-house team and broaden their experience with responsibility across corporate tax, VAT and trade compliance. Working in a team of three and reporting to the UK Tax Manager the role would suit a self-motivated and self-directing individual who enjoys working as part of a busy specialist team.

We are keen to speak with enthusiastic tax professionals from a practice, in-house or HMRC background who are CA and/or CTA qualified who have a desire to work across the tax spectrum in a fast paced, professional FMCG environment.
