SQA sell their products to countries in the Middle East and China amongst others. There is an ever increasing emphasis on the commercial income that can be generated internationally. Also the recent change in the curriculum in Scotland through the introduction of the ‘Curriculum for Excellence’ is being supported by a significant Change Programme within SQA that is ongoing.
SQA has 800 employees with 250 based in Dalkeith, 470 in Glasgow and the remainder working from home. SQA have received the Healthy Working Lives – Gold Award, for the last 9 years offering a range of clubs and activities to employees.
